RAW BENTONITE
Bentonites are natural primary clays whose main raw material is the mineral montmorillonite. This forms over 70% of the raw material, and the rest is represented by other clay minerals: quartz, cristobalts, mica, and zeolites.
The exact composition of bentonite is highly dependent on the deposit. The mineral is often mixed with chlorite, muscovite, illite, kukeit, and kaolinite. Montmorillonite is the main component of sodium bentonite, which is formed by the decay of volcanic ash. The geographical location of our mine in Peru allows us to obtain one of the highest quality bentonites in the world, as it has an ideal ratio of chemical compounds and elements. A large percentage of montmorillonite particles (83.9%) represent the highest quality in the world for the proposed purpose. The amount of individual oxide compounds and the mutual balance speak in favor of Nutrales’ bentonite deposit. The ideal ratio of compounds and the percentage of montmorillonite particles provides high cationic modification capacity, high absorption and adsorption power of gases, liquids (water), heavy metals, pesticides, hormones, oils and fats, which represents a very wide range of uses of our raw material.
The raw material is extracted, ground, and dried. The landscape returns to its original state after depleting the mine, so there is no encroachment in the environment.
We use the most modern system of mixing, fragrancing, and degreasing to create a product designed according to the highest criteria of our customers.
The raw material can be ordered in various packages. According to your wishes and requirements, we arrange it for you!
We offer the option of Big-Bag packaging up to 850 kilograms!
